Corporate Social Responsibility

Some call it Corporate Social Responsibility, for us it is helping our community.

If the entire environment of Castelldefels makes it possible for us to exist, we can’t think of anything else but taking care of it and giving it all our support. The entire ànecblau team works to take care of the community, the associations, and the environment.

¿Y CÓMO LO HACEMOS?

Pues de todas estas formas.

Patrocinios deportivos, colaboraciones, participación económica en carreras solidarias, etc.

Contribución con el deporte

ENVIRONMENT

Concrete actions to care for our environment

The ÀNECBLAU Shopping Center considers environmental excellence as a fundamental value of its business strategy. For this reason, it carries out its activities by protecting the environment, in accordance with the principles of safe and sustainable development and environmental risk management, implementing improvements that make it possible to protect the building from its surroundings, fight against climate climate change, protect biodiversity, as well as reduce the consumption of resources and raw materials, waste generation, and emissions inherent to its activity.

During 2025, the ÀNECBLAU Shopping Center renewed an Environmental and Health and Safety Management System based on the requirements of the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and maintained an Energy Management System based on the requirements of the ISO 50001 standard. These systems were evaluated by an accredited entity during the month of July 2025, with these being the main results:

Objective: Reduce and/or control environmental aspects evaluated as significant and promote the efficient use of resources.
Indicator: Control of atmospheric emissions from refrigerant gas leaks and waste transport activities to take reduction measures. Office Paper Consumption < 2% compared to Year 2024.
Objective achieved: Refrigerant leaks as well as emissions from waste management transport are recorded on a quarterly basis. 2025 Office Paper Consumption -13.03% < 2% compared to 2024.

Indicator: Reduce Electrical Consumption < 4% compared to Year 2019 (Master Plan Baseline 2021-2026).
Objective achieved: In the January-December 2025 period, electrical energy consumption was reduced by 20.28% compared to 2019.

Indicator: Reduce water consumption by 1% compared to Year 2019 (Master Plan Baseline 2021-2026).
Objective not achieved due to external reasons: Increase in general consumption (+42.86%) and due to footfall (+15.78%), caused by leaks in the fire protection water tank, as well as scheduled drainings for improvement works on fire hose reels (BIEs) and sprinkler pipes. Irrigation water consumption has been reduced in 2025 (745.81 m3) compared to 2022 (2,442 m3). 2022 was taken as a comparable year, as the outdoor landscaped areas increased after the 2019-2020 renovation and taking into account that there were no drought restrictions in 2022. Irrigation water savings 2025 vs 2022 of -69.46%.

The tank waterproofing works are planned for January 2026.
